Nigeria Minister of Information West African Golf Tour at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja, in February called upon all private sectors and philanthropists to support the Nigeria golf courses in order to attract class international golfers to partake in the country's tournament (PM Sports Online News March 1, 2018).

On a general note, Alhaji Mohammed pointed the need to leverage on golf and other sports to promote tourism and showcase Nigeria to the world.
