Golf Associations in Nigeria
Nigeria today has different professional bodies that stand for the regulation and control of golf activities in the country. Some of the associations are Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF), Professional Golfers Association Of Nigeria (PGAN), Nigeria-UK Golfing Association” (NUGA), Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN), Ladies Professional Golf Association of Nigeria (LPGAN), and Golf Caddies Association Nigeria.
Nigeria Golf Federation
Emphasizing on the Nigeria Golf Federation; it is the professional body and a multinational association that oversees the welfare of golf clubs, other minor golf associations and individual golfers in Nigeria.
The association is saddled to foster promotion and friendship among the Nigerian Diasporas and people from other African golfers living within the country. The golf federation also handles most of the annual events taking place within the country.
Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) has participated and supported series of annual golf tournaments within and outside the country. One of the international golf competitions that were provided support for Nigeria golfers to participate in All Africa Junior Golf Challenge AAJGC in Rabat, Morocco in March 2018.
