Golf in Nigeria - Hall of Fame
The game of golf is gaining popularity in Nigeria, and there some golfers who have won medals for the country in their featured golf tournaments and championships, and such players includes but is not limited to;
- Andrew Oche Odoh is one of the Nigeria golfers who has won medals for the country, he came out victorious in the West African Golf Tour (WAGT) ahead of the Ghanaian Vincent Torgah counterpart.
- Georgia Eboh is a young Nigerian golfer that won herself the third place at U.S Kids Golf Teen World Championship 2015, although she started poor but finished strong. She is currently preparing for the 2018 World Youth Olympic Games and promises to make Nigeria proud.
- Samuel Amadi is a Nigerian golfer that has won the national title on several occasions at the Lagos Amateur Open Golf Championship. He won the trophy in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2007 and 2010.
- J. Ajiboye is another golfer that has made a name in Nigerian golf tournament known as Lagos Amateur Open Golf Championship in different years. He won the trophy in 1969, 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1979.
Some of the Nigerian golfers ho have also participated in various golf tournaments include Willy Gift, Sunday Okpe, I.Ocheje, Monday Eze, Uche Eze and others.
